To mark the occasion, thousands of Peacock masks will be distributed at the game for supporters to wear. Plus the club will be using a special hashtag #JP500 for fans to pay tribute to the legendary forward on social media that will be shown on the big screen and scoreboard on the night.
Commenting on the plans, Media & PR Manager Phil Daly said, "JP has announced that next season will be his last in the game so this is a chance for us to mark an incredible landmark in his long career and pay tribute to him when he is at the top of his game. He is the most iconic and successful player of the Super League era so for him to reach this milestone exactly 15 years after his first Super League appearance and against the same opposition has a nice symmetry to it. We will be paying tribute to JP in our matchday magazine, Blue & Amber, and also in our ipad matchpack, Leeds Rhinos Live, as well as on the big screen on the match night."
Tickets for the game are available now from www.therhinos.co.uk/buytickets or by calling 0871 423 1315 (calls cost 10p per minute and may vary for mobiles). Fans can save £2 on the match night admission price by buying before the day of the game plus flexi memberships are still available which offer great value for five games that fans can choose in advance including JP Day on Friday. Fans will be able to also pay on the night at the turnstile.
