Under new coach Nathan Brown the Giants have been making a habit of picking up wins this season as they showed on Easter Monday with a commanding performance to beat Hull KR at Craven Park 30-8. That win came on the back of victory on Good Friday over Celtic Crusaders and seven wins from nine sees the Giants up to second place.
The Rhinos lost both their games over Easter but are still in third place above Wakefield on points difference. The Rhinos have won on their last five visits to the Galpharm Stadium including last year's 30-10 victory. However, their only loss to the Giants in the Super League era came at the Galpharm in 2003 when Huddersfield won 30-24.
