He admits his thoughts turned to the clash with Melbourne at Elland Road as soon as the euphoria of the Grand Final had subsided and having come up against the likes of Cameron Smith and Billy Slater in the Kangaroos side, he can not wait to take them on with the Rhinos.
He commented, “Melbourne have got some world class players. The last meeting between the two sides back in 2008 was a classic and this should be no different. We were talking about the Melbourne game at Old Trafford and it means a lot to us as a squad to be ready for that match. Having played the Aussies recently with England we know how dangerous they can be and we need to be ready for that.”
