Leeds Rhinos star Greg Eastwood admitted that he needs to make the most of his chances in the starting line up after producing a man of the match performance in the 37-30 win over Warrington Wolves.
Eastwood picked up the award in the televised game after he helped the Champions fightback from 20-12 down at the interval to secure a valuable win against Tony Smith's side. He commented after the game, "It was a great opportunity to get the chance to start. I have to take my opportunity as we have guys like Ali Lauiitiit coming back soon. We were disappointed with last week result against Crusaders and we knew we had to come here and get a result to stay up in the top eight. The young guys did really well and our experienced players led the side well."
That view was echoed by Danny McGuire, who scored the match winning try after a great piece of play by young hooker Paul McShane. McGuire said, "We felt we let ourselves down last week with our performance. It was tough out there in the conditions. Both teams won't be happy with some of the defence on display but it was great to come back and get the win in the end. The boys in the pack kept putting up their hand to take the ball forward for us. In the second half we managed to get a roll on and get the win which was brilliant."
