He told Rhinos TV, "We are fortunate in the City of Leeds to have some fantastic amateur clubs and coaches who are developing great young players. The lads who are in the Under 16 side have been part of our Scholarship scheme for a number of years and have been working with us since October for their season with us but it is the amateur clubs who sow the seed.
"There has become a bit of a trend for young lads to go in search of glory and move to the form amateur club in any given year, but I think lads need to stick by their clubs. If they are good enough they will get spotted by our scouts but it is just as important that they enjoy themselves with their mates, just like I did when I was a kid at Stanningley," added Jones-Buchanan.
