Sinfield saddened by loss of Holmes

Sinfield was at the Club Call event on Sunday afternoon when he heard that Holmes had lost his battle with cancer and he spoke on behalf of his club when he said, "This is a sad day for the Leeds club. John Holmes is a true legend at this club and one of the heroes that made this club what it is.

"I met him on a number of occasions and he was always humble and proud of his club. I am sure he will be sadly missed by all those who knew him and I would like pass on our condolences to his friends and family at this time," added Sinfield.
