Danny McGuire has missed out on selection for Saturday's First Test against New Zealand because of a hand injury picked up in the defeat to the All Golds. McGuire and Jamie Jones-Buchanan are the only two of the original seven Rhinos named in Tony Smith's Great Britain squad to miss out on his initial 20 man squad for Saturday's game at the Galpharm Stadium in Huddersfield. Bradford Bulls forward Sam Burgess and St Helens' Maruie Fa'asavalu could be in line to make their debuts. For Burgess, a first appearance for Great Britain, would cap a remarkable year for the 18 year old. Earlier this month he was voted engage Young Player of the Year and on Saturday he won the man of the match award for the Northern Union against the Kiwi All Golds. Fa'asavalu could also make his debut on Saturday alongside six of his Saints team mates who have also been included in the squad. Smith's squad also includes two players who would feel very much at home on Saturday if selected in the final 17. Huddersfield Giants' duo of Stephen Wild and new signing David Hodgson will be hoping to come face-to-face with Kiwi centre Paul Whatuira who is also joining the Galpharm based club next year.
