A host of former Rhinos players will be hoping to leave their mark on their former club when the Rhinos travel across to East Hull on Saturday night. Five former Rhinos have been named in the Robins 20 man squad and it could have been more with Mark O'Neill ruled out through injury. Prop Danny Ward is confident of winning his fitness battle ahead of Saturday's Super League club with his former team-mates at Craven Park. Ward damaged a bicep in the closing stages of Rovers' shock 26-16 win at Wigan last Friday but has been named in coach Justin Morgan's initial 20-man squad. "It's settled down a lot," he said. "There's a lot of movement in it so it's looking good. "I saw the specialist and he says I could have some surgery on it or leave it. I'll have rehab and physio and see how it goes. "It would be bitterly disappointing to miss out against my former team but I'm not going to risk it if it's not 100%." Ward enjoyed the best career at the Rhinos after making his debut in 1999 whilst still a teenager. He made 118 appearances for Leeds including 70 in the starting line up and scored nine tries and memorably won drop goal. He played in the 2004 Grand Final and the 2005 Carnegie World Club Challenge winning sides and also played in the 2003 and 2005 Challenge Cup Finals, scoring in the latter. Gareth Morton made two appearances, one in the starting line up before switching codes to join Scottish side Borders. Scott Murrell is the son of Leeds Challenge Cup winning full back Bryan Murrell. Scott made one appearance for Leeds before moving on whilst Jason Netherton made three appearances. Tommy Gallagher made appearances in Super League for London and Widnes on loan whilst at Leeds but never made his debut for the Leeds first team whilst injury restricted Mark O'Neill to just one starting appearances and eight substitute outings in his one season at Headingley Carnegie in 2006.
