If the Rhinos U21 side are going to return to the Grand Final they will need to beat league leaders Wigan this Sunday at Orrell RUFC, kick off 2.30pm. The Warriors had finished the regular season eight points clear of their nearest challengers, Hull FC, suffering just one defeat all season. However, they were turned over by the Airlie Birds 20-12 at home on Sunday and now must face a Leeds team buoyed by a fantastic win over Bradford last week. Leeds have already beaten Salford and the Bulls to reach the Grand Final Eliminator whereas Wigan have only played one game since the end of the regular season. A win for Leeds would set up a repeat of last season's remarkable Grand Final which the Rhinos won 1-0 at the KC Stadium.
Following both teams elimination from the Tetley's Challenge Cup last weekend, Leeds Rhinos and Wakefield have agreed to re-arrange the date for their postponed Round Eight Super League clash at the Rapid Solicitor's Stadium which will now be played on Friday 26th July, kick off 8pm.
Rugby League fans will have the opportunity to put questions about the ongoing Policy Review and planned competition restructuring directly to RFL Chief Executive Nigel Wood and RFL Chief Operating Officer Ralph Rimmer in a ground-breaking online question and answer session on Friday (May 17).
