The Rhinos star believes this philosophy amongst the players has helped them in recent games and will give them strength when they face similar situations throughout the season.
Speaking to Rhinos TV Jamie said, “The spirit in the team is very good at the minute. That’s always part of our philosophy as a group, we’ve all grown up together from young kids and we all love each other. We blow up at each other on the pitch sometimes and it looks like we are all fighting and angry but that just adds to the passion. We’re all desperate to win and really keen. We’re greedy for it in a way, which is a good thing that has been proved in the last couple of games when we’ve probably not started or played most of the game the way we wanted to and we have had to scramble and work hard for it at the end. You know sometimes that happens in finals and in important games and if you know you’ve got the spirit to come back and score two tries in the dying minutes then that always carries you through and you get that never say die attitude.”
