Speaking ahead of the big game the Leeds Rhinos Head Coach said, “It’s an exciting match given that it’s the last time we’ll play them in the regular season. We know there will be a really big crowd, it’s not going to be shown live on TV so if you want to get your fill of action packed rugby league in a derby the supporters have to get along and that makes it all the more exciting.
“There will be contests all over the field, it brings out the best in players derby matches, there’s a certain intensity about it and both sets of players have a lot of experiences in big matches so it makes for a really good contest.”
