Wakefield coach Shane McNally has vowed to field his strongest available Wildcats side in the Boxing Day Tetley's Challenge clash with Leeds Rhinos at Headingley. Wildcats reported back for pre-season training yesterday and will spend next week at an Army camp in Edinburgh. The squad will jet to Portugal for a week's warm weather training on January 1. McNally said: "Everyone who is available on Boxing Day will play. "Gareth Ellis will not be back until after Christmas because of his Great Britain involvement. David Solomona's in New Zealand and Michael Korkidas has had a shoulder operation, so he will not be back in training until the new year. "Mark Applegarth's had groin surgery so he is out as well and Jason Demetriou's wife's just had a baby, so he is staying a bit longer in Australia. But everyone else will play."
