York City Knights through their partnership with local bus operator First York are laying on free buses to Huntington Stadium for the friendly against the Rhinos. The game will take place at the Huntington Stadium on Friday 23rd January 8pm with all proceeds from the game going to the Knights, rather than being shared between the two clubs which is the usual practice for a friendly match. Tickets are available now from the Knights' office at the Huntington Stadium on 01904 656105 between 09.00 - 12.30 and 1.30 - 5pm Monday - Friday. Tickets can be booked over the phone by credit card or using a debit card with a switch/maestro logo. Huntington Stadium has a capacity of 3,500, including seating for 700. Currently, the game is not all ticket, however this may change, depending on demand for tickets. First York buses will be providing a free bus service to the ground, departing from the forecourt at York Railway Station at 7.10pm. A return service will depart from the Huntington Stadium directly after the match. There are also two other buses from York. The details for all three are as follows:
Bus 1: Departs Thanet Road Baths (Edmund Wilson) 18:45, picking up at Stonebow Job Centre also at 19:00 to Huntington Stadium.
Bus 2: Departs Burton Stone Lane (Corner House) 18:45 then Lowther Street (Shops) 19:00 to Huntington Stadium.
Bus 3: To wait at York Railway Station forecourt from 18:45 to meet potential trains from Leeds, departing 19:10 to stadium. All buses will depart Huntington Stadium straight after the game. Tickets are on sale now. Seats are £11 for adults, £9 for OAP's, £6 for juniors between 12 and 16 and just £2 for under 12's. Ground entry is just £9 for adults, £7 for OAP's, £5 for 12-16 year olds and only £1 for Under 12's. Tickets can be purchased by calling 01904 656105.
