Debutant prop Darrell Griffin said he was pleased to get a win on his first appearances in Super League with the Rhinos but admitted the side will be looking for improvement this week as they head to Wigan.
Griffin is one of only three players who are new to the squad this season. With the Rhinos facing Wigan in a Challenge Cup Final re-match next week, Griffin believes history will not play a big part in the side's preparations.
He told Rhinos TV, "We have got a big game next week and we need to improve our performance from our showing against Hull KR. I don't think the Cup Final will be a big factor in our preparations. Obviously I wasn't here last year but our focus will be on the here and now and doing what we have to do to get the right result."
