Wigan Warriors forward Liam Farrell has elected to make an Early Guilty Plea after being charged with committing a Grade B offence during his club's 20-16 Stobart Super League defeat by Huddersfield Giants on Sunday.
Farrell was charged with making dangerous contact on Huddersfield's Leroy Cudjoe in the 40th minute and has been suspended for one match after becoming the first players to accept an Early Guilty Plea.
The option to take an Early Guilty Plea is available to any player who has been charged with an offence of Grade A to C and who has not been found guilty of any other charge of on field misconduct or who has not submitted a previous Early Guilty Plea in the 12 months preceding the date of the match in which the alleged offence took place.
