The Rhinos Reserve Academy slipped to only their third defeat of the season at Hull on Saturday. The Reserve Academy, who have been so changed recently because of first team call ups, trailed 18-6 at the break and despite battling hard throughout lost out to the home side 39-18 in the end. The Rhinos tries came from full back Tom Sheldrake, winger Danny Lawton and prop Kashley Watkins, whilst stand off Simon Brown kicked three goals. The Reserve Academy now goes on hold until the beginning of August as the England Academy heads Down Under to take on Australia. The Rhinos Kallum Watkins and Paul McShane are in the national side. The Reserve Academy have three games left this season before the Play Offs but they are all away from home against Warrington, Huddersfield and Wigan. The Rhinos are ahead of St Helens on points difference but Saints have two games in hand.
