National newspaper, The People, is to print a special supplement this Sunday (6 April) previewing May's engage Super League Millennium Magic event. The eight page supplement will include exclusive player interviews about the carnival weekend of rugby which will see an entire round of engage Super League fixtures played under the Millennium Stadium roof over the weekend of 3 and 4 May. It will also feature expert analysis from Sky Sports' Stevo on which players are the ones to watch out for in Cardiff and details of what other activities you can do whilst enjoying the Welsh capital. In the supplement, readers will also have the chance to win a VIP weekend for four to Millennium Magic, courtesy of Super League sponsors engage Mutual Assurance, whilst also collecting a voucher to claim a half priced bottle of Lucozade at The Co-operative Food stores. Craig Spence, the RFL Communications Manager said: "It's a sign of just how big an event Millennium Magic has now become that a national newspaper is dedicating eight pages of its newspaper to it. "The supplement will be jam packed with information covering everything from what you need to know about the teams to what entertainment you can expect to find both inside and outside the stadium." Lloyd Embley, The People's Acting Editor, said: "A lot of our readers are huge Rugby League fans so we felt it was only right to produce a supplement on one of the biggest events in the sport's calendar. "Millennium Magic is unique to Rugby League as very few sports could bring fans from so many different teams together in one city and create such a family friendly atmosphere." As well as publishing a special eight page Millennium Magic supplement on Sunday 6 April, The People is also running a ticket offer in its Welsh edition for the event the following Sunday, 13 April. The People's Millennium Magic special will be available in all newsagents and supermarkets on Sunday 6 April priced 90p.
