Because of the unavailability of a ground in the Huddersfield area this Sundays Gillette Academy game against Huddersfield has been switched to Stanningley.
Because of the unavailability of a ground in the Huddersfield area this Sundays Gillette Academy game against Huddersfield has been switched to Stanningley. The kick off remains at 11am and is still on Sunday 24th August. The game is vital for both teams as they looked to secure their place in the top six, with the loser likely to miss out. The two teams met earlier this week when Leeds held on for victory at Morley RUFC however they know they will be in for another tough test on Sunday.

Leeds Rhinos head coach Brian McDermott said crucial mistakes had cost his side following their defeat to St Helens. Speaking after the game he said: "We were in command but that was never the game so early. I was never feeling comfortable at 16-0. I'm not sat scratching my head wondering how we lost. We missed too many soft tackles at crucial times and it gave them a bit of momentum. Take away a couple of blunders near our try-line and it's more of a tighter scoreline."
