The Rhinos have now teamed up with their official club sponsors, Leeds Building Society, to offer members of the public the first chance to see and be photographed with this Shield.
The League Leaders Shield will be on display at the Leeds Building Society Branch at Cross Gates in Leeds (57 Station Road, LS15 8DT) this Friday, 25th September, at 1.30 p.m. The Shield will be available for members of the public to have their photograph taken with it. It is also an excellent opportunity on Friday to meet Rhinos players Luke Burgess and Danny Buderus, who will be in attendance at the Branch
In addition, anyone opening a Blue & Amber account between now and Friday 9th October will have £5 added to their account by the Society. Also, existing Blue & Amber account holders who add to their account will go into a free prize draw to win a signed Leeds Rhinos shirt presented by a Leeds Rhinos Player.
Leeds Building Society Area Development Manager John Scally said, "We are offering everyone, members and non members alike, the chance to pop into Cross Gates Branch to have their photo taken with the League Leaders shield.
"This is the first time that any member of the public has been given this opportunity, since the Rhinos picked up the League Leaders shield a couple of weeks ago.
"It also presents a great opportunity to meet Luke Burgess and Danny Buderus as they approach their Grand Final Qualifying play off on Friday 2nd October and then, hopefully, the Grand Final on 10th October."
