Because of the restriction on movement of people behind the bowlers arm, fans had been urged to arrive early to help alleviate congestion and the majority of fans heeded that warning. There was a slight issue with congestion prior to kick off as fans tried to move from opposite ends of the Main Stand. However, fans co-operated with stewards and were able to come along the outside of the pitch prior to kick off and then moved in an orderly fashion along the front of the Paddock after the kick off with the queues having gone by 7 minutes into the game.
Commercial Director Rob Oates commented, "We would like to thank all fans for their co-operation in helping us stage today's game. We are unique in world sport that we are able to meet the challenge of staging two major events on the same day and we would also like ot thank Yorkshire CCC, Somerset CCC and Huddersfield Giants for their support as well. The game presented a number of challenges which we were able to plan for and resolve. We would like to apologise to any fans in the Paddock who were inconvenienced at the start of the game and thank those fans who took on board our appeals to arrive earlier than normal. It was great that we finished the day with a win as well and we look forward to welcoming everyone back in a fortnight for the massive clash with Bradford on Friday 26th June."
