We are asking volunteers to arrive at 11.30am at the stadium, if you have shovel please bring it with you although we do have a supply if anyone does not have one. The groundstaff have been working on the pitch since early this morning and piles of snow will be ready to clear when you arrive.
When you arrive at the stadium head for the pitch side and Head Groundsman Jason Booth will be there to meet you. Please only volunteer if you are fit and able to do the work, we don't want to ruin anyones Christmas but any help you can provide will be much appreciated and will mean that the groundstaff can get the pitch cleared as quickly as possible.
Thank you for any help you are able to offer and have a great Christmas. At present, there is no doubt surrounding the fixture however please check www.therhinos.co.uk on Boxing Day morning if you want to make sure before setting off. Please do not phone the club offices as staff will only be in from 9am and will be dealing with customers at the counter. We will also be contacting BBC Radio Leeds for those who do not have access to the internet on Boxing Day morning. The current forecast from the Met Office for the next 48 hours is for no more snow in Leeds and temperatures to be above freezing so if the pitch is cleared there should no issue with the pitch.
