Tuesday Had an early start to today as we were going to the races at Randwick so had to be up at 7 to leave at 8am. We had our warm up then into our set plays and attacking and defence sets, then into the gym for weights. After dinner we set off for the races. We had to wear our suits as it was a function that Gillette had kindly put on for us so we were in a VIP tent with free food and drink, but as we were playing we had a beer free day so that was a massive waste. Randwick was packed and the Aussies really love to celebrate the Melbourne Cup as every bar and hotel put some sort of function on, everyone makes an effort to get dressed up too which makes a change from the usual board shorts and thongs (flip flops) as they call them. We had a bit of a syndicate between Rob, Danny, Gaz and myself , we all put $100 into a kitty and took it in turns to pick the horses, we had a really good day and ended up winning about $400 each so it was a very successful day and one where we all enjoyed it. When we got back to the hotel JP, Lee Gilmour, Stu Fielden, Danny, Gaz, Rob and myself went for some food because we couldn't wait till dinner in the hotel then just relaxed in the hotel till bed.
