Despite being part of the relegated York City Knights side, Rhinos youngsters Peter Fox and Jason Golden were both today named in the National League One All Stars team. Both Golden and Fox spent this season on loan at the Knights under former Rhinos coach Mick Cook. York-born flier Fox and second-row Golden received the accolades at a plush LHF Healthplan National League awards ceremony at Elland Road, Leeds, last night. Both players have now signed for Super League club Wakefield Trinity Wildcats, but Knights chief executive John Guildford said their achievements reflected well on the club. He said: "It's a good achievement for the club to have two players in the Team of the Year' despite coming second-bottom. It's a good end to a disappointing season. "It shows what opponents thought of these two young players and it shows how well they have come on." The National League All Star team is supported by 'Rugby League World' magazine.
