The hunt is on for the Yorkshire Evening Post Leeds Rhinos Shooting Star 2006. The YEP's annual award recognises the young player who has made the biggest impact for Rhinos over the current campaign. This week the YEP will be unveiling the five nominees and on Saturday they will reveal how you can vote for your favourite young player - and win the chance to present the prize to your Shooting Star. The honour will be presented at the Rhinos' annual black tie awards night, sponsored by Network Securities UK and Gala Casinos at the Queens Hotel, Leeds, on Monday 18th September. The Shooting Star award is open to players aged 24 or under at the start of the season. Previous winners have not been nominated. Tickets for the awards night are still available priced £65 plus VAT.
