Commenting on the move Rhinos Head Coach Brian McDermott said, "Paul has not been selected for our game this Friday at Wakefield however it is important that he gets some gametime this weekend. As we have already seen this season, Jimmy Keinhorst and Brad Singleton made significant steps forward with the game time they had at the Hawks and the encouragement that has given them and it is important, especially at this time of year, that Paul continues to play as we enter a crucial passage of the season."
Hawks Director of Rugby Darren Williams added, "Having been offered the opportunity to sign Paul McShane on dual registration and after considering the benefits he will add to our squad, we are delighted that Paul will join up with us for training this week in preparation for Sunday's game with Leigh. Thomas Coyle currently on loan from Leigh is unavailable for selection this weekend due to a clause in his loan agreement so Paul can fill that void. He has a close affinity with the local community and Hunslet Hawks as he lives in South Leeds and is current coach of Hunslet Old Boys and is committed to our cause".
Kick off on Sunday at South Leeds is 3pm and Rhinos season ticket holders can get half price admission to the game by showing their membership card in the club office.
