Hood avoids unlucky break

Hood had to be helped from the field shortly after scoring a try in Rob Burrow's testimonial game against Featherstone Rovers last Friday. Initially it looked as if he had suffered a severe ankle injury and a break was not ruled out until after scans on the injury.

Physiotherapist Andy Barker confirmed the injury, he commented, "Liam has suffered an ankle syndosmosis which is a high ankle injury. He should be back in action in between six to eight weeks."
