Tony Smith praised Danny McGuire following the Rhinos 44-24 win over London at Headingley when the half back scored four of the Rhinos tries. Commenting after the game Smith said, "I thought Danny did a whole lot of things well today, not just his tries. We kept together the same half back pairing as last week at Leigh because we thought they deserved another chance and I thought Danny and Andrew Dunemann were outstanding in the first half. They really shone out for us in that half when we needed them "I thought Keith Senior stepped up a gear in the second half but Danny was exceptional and not just because of his tries. "We allowed the game to be played at their tempo in the first half and I was pleased that we had the ability to recognise that and change it in the game." When asked about captain Kevin Sinfield's limited amount of game time Smith said, "I wanted to ease him back in gently. He was never going to play 80 minutes tonight, he needs to get his game fitness back up but there was no worries on that score."
