Great Britain international Danny McGuire has been ruled out for a month after suffering a broken bone in his left hand in the win at Wigan on Friday. McGuire, who has already missed five weeks this season after having surgery on a groin injury, will be in plaster for two weeks and will then need a further fortnight to regain his match fitness. Commenting on the news Head Coach Tony Smith said, "We are bitterly disappointed for Danny, having just got back from another injury. But broken bones are something that you can not prevent and are a natural hazard in the game. Danny has received the quickest possible treatment for the injury and we expect him to be back available in a month. It is a blow for Danny but he is a strong character and he will bounce back from this and we expect him to be fully fit when he recovers from this new injury."
