The Grand Final IF Form

Take the hassle out of buying your Grand Final ticket

The deadline has now passed for fans to submit the Grand Final IF Form.

Following the Rhinos success in reaching the engage Super League Grand Final there is no need for any supporters who has completed an IF Form to contact the club in the coming days.
Following the success of the Grand Final ‘IF’ form for the past two seasons we have provided fans over the last month the opportunity to pre-book your Grand Final tickets in the event of a Rhinos win.

In a change to the usual ticket allocation, we are going to offer each season ticket holder, Rhinos 2000 member and Leedsline agent the opportunity to purchase two tickets each as opposed to one. Bronze members can also use this form this time however they will be processed after we have fulfilled the top level priority customers. In the same way, if a top priority party includes a bronze member in their IF form they will go to the second level priority.
All ‘IF’ form applications must have been received prior to 12 noon on Friday 2nd October.

The IF Forms will be processed in the order in which they were received and the allocation of tickets will be taken out from the best available we have in each category before the tickets go on sale on Saturday morning at 9am.

Please note that unless you are a Season Ticket holder, Bronze member, Rhinos 2000 member or Leedsline agent then you cannot use this form to pre-book your Grand Final tickets. If you submit a form and do not fall into one of the above categories then your order will NOT be processed.

Once an IF Form has been submitted, the order will be carried out according to your directions. Please do not contact the club to try and add or subtract tickets from your order as this is not possible.

Buy tickets now for Old Trafford

Leeds Rhinos fans have been quick to snap up their tickets for the engage Super League Grand Final on Saturday and it looks like the travelling army of fans could turn the home of the Red Devils blue for the weekend.

The Champions have sold over 1,000 more tickets than they did for the 2008 Grand Final after tickets went off sale from the Headingley Carnegie ticket office on Thursday evening.

However, there are still tickets available for the match from the Rugby Football League direct either over the phone or online 24 hours a day. Plus the Manchester United ticket office at Old Trafford will be open from 9am on Saturday morning for fans to buy any unsold tickets on the day of the game.

Tickets for the 2009 engage Super League Grand Final between Leeds Rhinos and St Helens at Old Trafford on Saturday October 10 are priced from £21 and can be purchased by calling the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 856 11 13, by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk or by texting super to 80808 on an internet-enabled mobile telephone.

Commenting on the ticket sales Leeds Rhinos Chief Executive Gary Hetherington said, "We are delighted with the response from our supporters. Our ticket sales office have done a fantastic job with over 7,000 tickets allocated on the first day of sale on Saturday alone. We were able to ensure that all our season ticket holders and members were able to get their hands on a ticket first before the remaining tickets went on general sale on Monday morning.

"We will already sold out over 40 coaches for the trip but fans can still book on the official coach trip by calling our ticket office. The team very much appreciate the support from our fans, especially given the hard, economics time that we are in," added Hetherington.

Captain Kevin Sinfield echoed those sentiments, "The Rhinos fans are the best in the world and they continue to give the lads their full backing. This will be our third Grand Final in a row and the atmosphere generated by both sets of fans is incredible. On behalf of the team, I would like to thank those fans who have purchased a ticket already and we look forward to seeing you on Saturday evening when we come out that tunnel for kick off," added Sinfield.

The Rhinos have launched a campaign to Turn Old Trafford Blue with fans able to download blue banners which they can print off and take with them on the day. Leeds fans will once again have the East Stand end of the ground, which the players will face towards when they come through the tunnel.

Marketing Manager Abigail Furniss added, "Old Trafford is famous for being the home of the Red Devils but it is becoming a special place for Rhinos fans as well. We want the fans to come dress all in blue for the game and are offering fans a free way to show their support by going to the website to download a banner." To download a banner click here now

Furniss has also warned fans to plan their journey carefully on Saturday to avoid any trouble in Manchester City Centre. "We have been informed by the RFL and the Police that there will be a march by a far right organisation on Saturday in Manchester city centre which is likely to be met by angry protests from anti-facist demonstrators. The city centre is an alchohol-exclusion zone as a result on Saturday. The safest and most enjoyable way for fans to go to Old Trafford is with the official coach trip which will depart Headingley Carnegie at 1pm."

Legendary Leeds player Graham Eccles will be opening up the Supporters Club in the South Stand car park at 12 noon on Saturday for fans who wish to have a drink together before boarding the buses over to Old Trafford. If you haven't booked your coach place yet call 0871 423 1315 or visit the Headingley Carnegie ticket office before lunchtime on Friday.

For those fans travelling independently, Greater Manchester Police have advised Leeds fans to take a particular route to the ground. M62 from Yorkshire continuing straight onto M60 anti-clockwise signed towards Liverpool, at Eccles Interchange M60 J12 supporters should take M602 towards Manchester City Centre.

At the end of M602 (J3) supporters should follow directions for Trafford park, taking third exit on roundabout into Trafford Road A5063 following Trafford Road across Bridge over the River Irwell and turning right intoTrafford Park Road then left into Waters Reach to approach the East Car parks of the stadium in Sir Matt Busby Way.
