The School Girls U13 League was devised by Leeds Rugby Foundation in 2009 in response to a growing interest for the sport within the City’s Secondary Schools. The competition sees twelve teams from Schools across the city taking part in a unique tournament.
In the initial stages the teams are split into two separate pools, with each side playing each other once. The two winners and runners up from each Pool will then compete in a Play Off game, with the eventual winners of these two fixtures progressing to the Grand Final, which will be staged at the famous Headingley Carnegie Stadium.
