The Rhinos took the lead through a Clayton Stott try, after he collected Kyle Quinlans's chip to the corner. Widnes bounced back with the first of two tries from Keiron Butterworth. Leeds were next to score through Stevie Ward but before half time Widnes were ahead through a Chris Atkin try.
In the second half Atkin helped set up the next try with Jack Owen colleting his kick before offloading to Adam Lawton who then crossed for the try. Alex Brown then escaped the Leeds defence to extend Widnes' lead.
Leeds got themselves back in the game with two tries from Ryan Smith, but Grant Gore scored for the homeside to maintain their advantage. Buttetworth then sealed the win with his second try of the game to bring the final score to 32-20.
The U18's will next be in action against Wigan on Saturday 31st July.
